Changes to the Programme

A list of last minute changes to the programme is shown below.

Visit to Technical University of Crete (TUC)
Wednesday 5 July 13.00-15.00

A bus will take those who wish to go on the visit to see the laboratories at the Technical University of Crete.

Registration for the visit will take place from 11.30.

Booking for the visit is necessary. Please email Melanie Powell at falexander@knowalliance.org to reserve a place.

Conference Opening

The conference opens at 15.00 on Wednesday 5 July, after which there will be an introductory talk from Prof Theoharis Tsoutsos from TUC, followed by 3 parallel paper presentation sessions.

Drinks Reception

Drinks will be served at the conference venue 18.30-19.30 after the sessions.

Conference Gala Dinner
19.30 Thursday 6 July

This will be held at Zeppo's Restaurant on the Venetian Harbour.

Delegates can meet at 19.00 to walk to the restaurant for dinner at 19.30.

Online Pre-Proceedings

The full text of the papers presented at the conference can be viewed by logging in to the PROSE system with your username and password and selecting 'Pre-proceedings Online'.

You can also view the presentation Powerpoint file if the author has uploaded it.

If you do not have a PROSE account you can view the Pre-proceedings using
Userid: guest
Password: guest

Note:

If your paper cannot be seen in the pre-proceedings this will probably be because you did not correctly name the paper PDF file, or did not upload it at all.

To be visible in the pre-proceedings there must be a file in the publication file area named
seb17f-xxx.pdf
where seb17f-xxx.pdf is the number of the paper.

You can also upload a Powerpoint presentation if you wish others to be able to view it.

Conference Presentations

All presentations are oral.

Oral presentations are allowed 20 minutes, made up of 15 minutes presentation time and 5 minutes for questions.

A laptop computer and data-projector will be provided for the use of presenters.
